Lecture given on March 12th, 2017 - Śrī Gaura Pūrṇimā Day. Swami B.G. Narasingha explains the yuga-dharma to Indian guests and western yoga students and instructors on the day of Śrī Gaura Pūrṇimā. He explains how the many different processes of dharma have no to little efficacy in the age of Kali, and how nāma-saṅkīrtana is the most potent process of this age. He also reads from various śāstra about the advent of Mahāprabhu and the chanting of Hari-Nāma.

If someone says I accept the divinity of Mahāprabhu but not the divinity of Nityānanda Prabhu, then he is a philosopher of this half-hen philosophy. The whole thing is spoiled. So from Nityānanda Prabhu, our fortune begins.

Contrary to the beliefs and speculations of some narrow-minded and unrealized persons, these statements are true to the smallest detail.

Bhaktivinoda Thakura was not staying in Godrumadvipa when he had his vision of the Adbhuta Mandira. In fact Bhaktivinoda's house at Godruma was not built until two years later.

In this talk on the disappearance day of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (November 3rd, 2016), Swami Narasingha explains the importance of observing the viraha-mahotsava (an observance in separation). He emphasises the acarya’s bhajan-kutir over the samadhi, as this is where the acarya is performing eternal service, although both are respected. He also explains what is divine revelation and how it comes down to the qualified devotee.

I have some doubt about Bhaktivinoda Thakura's explanation of the jiva. I would be very grateful if you could please enlighten me on this subject.

By the constant process of hearing, chanting and associating we will grow more and more to that more substantial plane where faith is the most important thing and where we find ourselves always in the position of surrender and catching everything coming from above instead of just struggling up the ladder.

He explains the position of the acarya as the representative of Nityananda and it's significance. He discusses the two most important places in Vrndavana according to Srila Sridhara Maharaja and the place of the origin of Gaura-tattva. He emphasises the importance of service as the means of gaining free movement within the highest conceptions of spiritual life.
