There is not a Hindu who has not heard the name of this temple. The old and the young, the male and the female, the Rajah and the ryot, and the weak and the stout, all visit this temple out of a religious curiosity.

In this talk given in Vancouver on June 21st 2001, on the disappearance day of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura, Śrīla Bhakti Gaurava Narasiṅgha Mahārāja speaks briefly about the life of Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura and the unfortunate situation of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavism before the Ṭhākura’s appearance.

Bhaktivinoda Thakura was not staying in Godrumadvipa when he had his vision of the Adbhuta Mandira. In fact Bhaktivinoda's house at Godruma was not built until two years later.

I have some doubt about Bhaktivinoda Thakura's explanation of the jiva. I would be very grateful if you could please enlighten me on this subject.

This appearance day of Mahaprabhu is a good day to remember that everything comes by His grace. We should sincerely pray for His grace.
